WBI Golden Hand: Australasian Championships

Incase you haven’t been catching the headlines for the past couple of weeks, wall ball has now become a professional sport.  Yesterday the ‘Tamarama Wall Ball Chapter’  took part in the inaugural Wall Ball International Golden Hand: Australasian Championships.

The event was held at Redbull HQ in Alexandria, where over one hundred wall ball warriors took to the courts and battled it out for the highly prestigious Golden Hand trophy.

Even though our Tama team is fairly new to the sport, we progressed through the rounds like well-seasoned players. Benji and I even made it though to the Men’s Doubles Semi-Finals, only to be ousted by Allan and T-Bone who proved to be better ballers’ on the day.

Here’s a selection of shots I took between games throughout the day.
