Last weekend we flew up to my old stomping ground on the far north coast of New South Wales, Byron Bay.
Our visit wasn’t for any real reason other than to relax and catch up with some old friends. Both of which we succeeded in doing.
We stayed at a beautiful little resort based just outside of Byron Bay called Azabu, which is definitely worth considering if you’re planning a trip. The resort is built in a little rainforest oasis which unwound from our city life in about five minutes flat.
Aside from checking out all the standard spots around town, Collo – a good friend of mine, took us to a awesome waterfall called Killen Falls, located inland of Ballina. We spent the afternoon getting massaged (or pummelled) by the falls and floating around the pools, while the local turtles watched on from the shore.
Here are a few shots from our short stay.
Enjoy!
